The song brave is an amazing meaning turned into a beautiful encouraging song. I think this song is saying that, if you speak up and stand up for yourself and be yourself you can be free, happy. You don't need to use hurtful words, but your good words can be the weapon to defeat. Brave can be taken differently depending on who is listening to it. Here are some people view of the song:
